Gegessen und getrunken wird hier seit Anbeginn der Burg, selbst in den stuermischen Zeiten des 30 jaehrigen Krieges, der aber diesen Mauern nichts anhaben konnte. Weine fraenkischer und anderer Provenienz, schaeumendes Bier einer traditionsverbundenen Brauerei, Wild und Fisch nach Saison und Gefluegel und Fleisch von den Bauern des Umlandes. Unser Essen und Trinken ist echt und natuerlich, wie das Gemaeuer der Burg. Wir, vom Hotel Burg Veldenstein, bieten unseren Gaesten die Gastlichkeit, die sie sich wuenschen. Over 900 years of dining has taken place in the Hall of the Knights. During the early days of the castle guests ate at rough-hewn tables with wooden spoons and fingers. Today our guests eat at beautifully set tables with exquisite china and silverware.

Our cellars feature fine wines from the Franconia region as well as other famous areas around Germany. We also offer beer from local breweries, wild game, and fish when in season. Our poultry and meats hail from the surrounding farming community. All to ensure that your dinning experience is as complete and natural as the walls of the castle itself.
